have you considered not being a slumlord who literally collects barrels of human shit and doesn't even know how to compost them and is so thin-skinned that you blow up at the slightest criticism?

Hudson Valley Seed is in the area, so anything they sell should grow reliably.

I grew up in the area, but don't live there anymore. You're likely to get far more favorable prices/more lax ordinances and generally more welcoming attitudes (toward agricultural stuff) if you go a few towns further out -- Canton, Granby, New Hartford, Burlington, Hartland, etc.

West Hartford, Farmington, Simsbury are really snooty, bougie towns.

Cool, thanks! I'm curious what effect this would have on the decomposition timeline of the synthetics? I know the 100% cotton stuff can be thrown right in the compost pile once its been exhausted, but I wonder about the blends

If you use woodchips for their bedding material, you can just clear out their used bedding and use it as a mulch directly.

So about a month ago, I experimented with putting some oyster mushroom spawn in some old clothing of mine. Some of it was 100% cotton, while others were cotton/synthetic blends -- either polyester or rayon or spandex. Surprisingly, nearly all of them have fruited. So my question is, are the ones borne of synthetic blends going to be safe to eat?
