Hi everyone.
I read with interest permies and wwoofing posts, as we are both wwoof hosts and members here. Thinking of intentional community. We are all sharing the same ideas, so we have a community here. We are all interested in sharing our farms with others, that's another form of community. Here in Cherry Plain, I feed one neighbor from my garden and the other neighbor trims my mare's hooves. I provide doe tags to a friend and he fills our freezer for my daughter (I'm vegan). The list goes on.
To me, the more we grow, the better we become. Just knowing you are all here makes me so happy. Every year, we host farm helpers and if it was up to me they'd never leave LOL. I love sharing our home and we have plenty of extra space in a separate loft. Ultimately, if we found a couple or a single who wanted to stay on, they could probably build a cabin on our land either in NY or VT. I'm pretty open to intentional community.
Thank you for being here and knowing that we are all in the same realm. We share and share alike.
